Acupuncture and embryo transfer day
There is more written and research papers about acupuncture on the day of embryo transfer than any other aspect of it’s use alongside IVF. Repeated studies have shown that acupuncture on the day of the embryo transfer can be highly effective in increasing pregnancy rates. Research suggests that this is time sensitive treatment with a few hours window either side.
At our Wimpole St branch we are uniquely set up to provide this service to our clients. With a large team of experienced practitioners we see many IVF clients daily and are specifically set up to deal with the particular logistics of embryo transfers. We are open seven days a week so can accommodate our clients whenever their transfer falls. We keep rooms available specifically for embryo transfer clients so will not say we are too busy or fully booked, and we are very used to being able to sort this at very late notice for clients who do not know when the exact timing of their transfer is until last minute. Based in the Harley st district, we are also within a couple of minutes walking distance from the ARGC, CRGH, Evewell, Aria, London Women’s clinic, Fertility Academy, ABC, Fertility Plus and IVI clinics. As well as only being a short distance from many others in central London
Please note, we are unable to see clients for embryo transfer alone, clients must have already seen us during that treatment cycle as there is not time on ET day to do a full consultation and provide the comprehensive service we want to.
All of this is designed to help improve the chances of success while keeping stress levels to a minimum! For the typical set of acupuncture appointments around a fresh or frozen IVF cycle, please see our timings page
