Daniel studied Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA), and followed this with a period of hospital-based work in China before establishing the London Acupuncture Clinic
He has been member of the British Acupuncture Council since graduating from the LCTA, a consultant for the Oriental Medicine Research Trust, and has sat on the British Acupuncture Council committee.
With over 20 years experience, Daniel has done extensive post graduate study and has published in the field of gynaecological disorders and infertility. He is also an invited acupuncture expert for several media companies including SKY and Mens Health magazine.
In addition to being Clinical Director of this practice, Daniel has set up an in-house complementary therapy team for a specialist IVF unit.

Karla trained for 3 years at the London College of Acupuncture and Northern College of Acupuncture, gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture, followed by 2 years of training in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
She has completed extensive post graduate training, focussed on traditional Chinese medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, Western and Chinese medical approaches to fertility.
Her approach centres around providing efficient care tailored to the individual, and includes authentic emotional support. She tackles the underlying causes of infertility, helping men to increase the count and quality of sperm produced and women to enhance their chances of conception, both naturally and in conjunction with IVF and IUI.
Offering a calm and safe space, she helps patients manage and overcome unwelcome symptoms during pregnancy, such as morning sickness and lower back pain and use proven methods to minimise chances of miscarriage.

Alex Owen is an experienced and approachable therapist who has been practicing TCM for over 17 years. His experience covers a broad array of traditional Chinese therapies. Over the years Alex has set up and run multiple clinics in Hertfordshire and London, he’s held a teaching post at Middlesex University’s acupuncture training clinic and helped establish the UK first full time maternity acupuncture service on the NHS.
Alex holds TCM qualifications from both the UK and China (BSc and Bachelor of Medicine respectively). In his time in China he not only studied at Beijing Chinese Medicine University but also worked on placements at two of Beijing’s most prominent Chinese Medicine hospitals.
Alex’s main specialisations are in pain conditions these include: sports injuries, chronic, long term pain conditions such as sciatica, back pain and chronic headaches such as migraines. Alex’s other specialisation is in women health with a broad knowledge from fertility issues, IVF support, menstrual problems and menopause. Alex’s time on Whittington Hospitals maternity ward has also given him a vast knowledge of using acupuncture during pregnancy for conditions ranging from morning sickness, carpal tunnel and natural labour induction.
Alex looks to provide a friendly, safe space for you to receive your treatments. He is passionate about his work and believes that patients should be empowered to take back control of their health.

Eva graduated from Westminster University with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and has been a fertility acupuncture specialist with over 15 years of experience. She offers a unique blend of treatments including Acupuncture, Preconception Massage, Mercier Therapy and Low Level Laser Therapy. These modalities may have limitations on their own however the combination of these therapies can produce the best results for successful conception.
Eva also offers fertility coaching for clients with fertility challenges. Her approach is directional, aims to identify possible causes of infertility. Based on those findings she provides an action and treatment plan by discussing the full range of options and tests that are available to the client. Eva connects with medical and complementary therapy experts who are pioneering the latest research, procedures and techniques and can put clients in contact with some of the best specialists.
Eva has lectured on the use of acupuncture during IVF and the role of acupuncture in the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Erika graduated with a BSc (Hons) from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, specialising in Traditional and Five Element Acupuncture. She delved deeply into the mental and emotional aspects of infertility and its treatment through Chinese Medicine in her dissertation.
Erika also completed a Gynaecology, Fertility, and Obstetrics post-graduate diploma, alongside her ongoing pursuit of The Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture. As a fully trained psychologist, Erika maintains a passionate interest in mental and emotional well-being, enriching her practice with a comprehensive understanding of these vital dimensions.
Erika‘s approach is characterised by a harmonious fusion of Western diagnostics and the timeless wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Recognising the interconnectedness of physical and emotional health, she emphasises the importance of addressing both aspects in her holistic approach to healing. James started his journey in complementary and alternative medicine CAM in 1998, culminating in his Bachelor of Medicine in Chinese Medicine from Beijing University in 2005.
During his Beijing internship, James focused on MSK acupuncture for acute and chronic pain,
women’s health, and dermatology, with a focus on eczema and psoriasis. He went
onto complete his Post-grad in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Dermatology with renowned specialist Mazin Al-Khafaji.
James joined the Gateway clinic treating chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries and lectured on lower back pain and acupuncture treatment within an NHS setting.
Inspired by the Gateway Clinic, James co-founded one of Hertfordshire’s first multibed clinics, providing low-cost acupuncture to the community. This allowed James to specialize in an area of interest: headaches and migraines.
Invited to practice at his universities teaching clinic, James became the lead acupuncturist for the maternity team at Whittington hospital, offering care throughout pregnancy. He also served at the Active Birth Centre for over 13 years and held a post at the Portland Hospital for pregnancy acupuncture and the NHS for fertility treatments.
During his post in the NHS, James studied cognitive hypnotherapy and NLP to aid his work in labour preparation and pain management, deepening his exploration of the mind-body relationship integral to TCM.
From 2010, James immersed himself in functional medicine training with the IFM, focusing on gastrointestinal health and further qualifying in naturopathic nutritional medicine with post grad training in bowel and blood testing.

Inga Heese is a qualified Doctor of Chinese medicine with over 15 years experience. She studied for 8 years in order to achieve her doctorate of Chinese Medicine which included six months internship working in hospitals in Beijing. In 2005 Inga studied a Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Dermatology with the leading Chinese medicine Dermatologist in the West (Mazin Al-Khafaji) and she went on to work within his clinic for a further three years. She has published and co-written, or edited numerous articles on topics including the treatment of low ovarian function in older women (see here), female infertility, acupuncture in pregnancy and is currently editing a very exiting book on Chinese medicine and the treatment of infertility combining Chinese and Western medicine diagnostics and treatments. Increasingly her focus is on achieving pregnancy naturally for couples who have found conception difficult.

Rokhsaneh has been practicing Acupuncture in the UK and in France since 2014. She has a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine from IEATC, École d’Acupuncture et de Médecine traditionnelles chinoises, Paris, France and in Paediatric Acupuncture Speciality from College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading, UK. She is a member of the Acupuncture Association
In addition, Rokhsaneh completed her clinical training at Beijing international acupuncture training centre in China in the summer of 2014, over there she treated women who were suffering from Gynecological disorders.
With a background in clinical medical biology and her experience working in hospitals, she could interpret medical test results and identify some underlying causes of health problems.
Taking a wide range of courses and attending conferences in Oriental Medicine and Neuroscience helped Rokhsaneh to remain up to date and an effective practitioner.
Rokhsaneh applies the wisdom of Chinese philosophy, Taoisme in her daily life, such as nutrition, and the practice of Martial arts, such as Qi Gong and Tai Qi, which contributes greatly to her capacity for treating patients.

Olga completed the three classical disciplines of Chinese Medicine: BSc (Hons) Acupuncture (2005), Post graduate Tui Na Massage (2007) and an MSc in Chinese Herbal Medicine (2013) from University of Westminster.
Olga’s clinical experience began in 2001 as a Massage Therapist and Reflexologist, then Chinese Medicine, in her three private clinics in London. She worked for seven years in a multi-disciplinary Physiotherapy clinic, gaining extensive knowledge on musculo-skeletal conditions and rehabilitation exercises, which were applied to teaching Tuina Massage at the University of Westminster Polyclinic. Olga also studied different styles of Acupuncture (Master Tung & Hara Diagnosis), to be able to take different approaches and to better assist clients with very complex health issues.
Olga trained in the Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Gastrointestinal Departments at China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan and at the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine in Vietnam. Her post graduate UK studies focused on Acupuncture in Assisted Fertility, History of Chinese Gynaecology, Autoimmune Diseases, Digestive Disorders and Abdominal Diagnosis.

Olga strongly believes in dietary advice and she has also used her previous career as an Executive Chef to create a food blog providing gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, keto & paleo recipes, to help her clients that need to be on anti-inflammatory diets for health or fertility reasons.

With over 20 years experience in clinical practice as an Acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council, Lora works with a broad range of health issues with specialisms in fertility, women’s health and chronic illness.
In addition to a BSc in TCM acupuncture Lora has completed post graduate studies in Functional medicine which seeks to unearth the root causes of ill health and provide a realistic health plan to aid transformation.

After graduating from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading in 1999, Beverley began her research career in the Supportive Oncology Research Team (SORT) at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex (now part of the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust). In 2007, she attained a PhD for research into using acupuncture to manage breast cancer treatment-related hot flushes. Since then, she has conducted several research studies exploring how acupuncture can be used to improve the wellbeing of people living with and beyond cancer.
A highly regarded researcher, she has published many papers in scientific journals, and lectures internationally. Beverley is a Fellow of the British Acupuncture Council, an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, and Past-Chair of British Lymphology Society Scientific Committee. She is author of “Acupuncture and Cancer Survivorship: Recovery, Renewal and Transformation” (published 2023 by Singing Dragon), the first evidence-based peer-reviewed book to focus on using acupuncture in cancer survivorship.
With nearly 25 years’ experience in the field, she is regarded as the acupuncture authority on cancer survivorship in the UK and the West.

In 2002 Robin began his Chinese medical obsession enrolling on a 5 year full time degree in both London and Beijing, studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Since then, Robin has continued his passion for learning fueled by his desire to achieve excellent results in the shortest timeframe.
Robin has undergone extensive training in musculoskeletal disorders utilizing both modern and traditional acupuncture techniques. Working closely with doctors, manual and rehabilitation therapists, Robin understands when a multidisciplinary approach is needed to relieve pain and restore range of motion.

Laura started her career in performing arts as a musician and then moved into business management in finance. Working life became very stressful and so Laura turned to acupuncture to help her be able to cope in a difficult working
environment.
Laura soon realised that Chinese Medicine could help with so much more than stress. Acupuncture had such a profound impact on her that she retrained as an acupuncturist at the College of Chinese integrated Medicine gaining a BSC (Hons) in the style of Five Element acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Laura has now continued to further study classical acupuncture and integrate all methods into her practice which also includes gua sha and cupping.
Laura’s approach asks the patient to work with her as a team to get better and she offers lifestyle advice and nutritional tips so that the patient can help themselves outside of the clinic to feel better.

Katie has practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 20 years and is a Visiting Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor of students at Westminster University.
She qualified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997 and 1998 and has continued to practice, teach and study since then.
She is dedicated to helping people experience optimal health and well-being. Katie practises mainly as a ‘generalist’ treating clients with a wide range of conditions including acute and chronic pain, respiratory issues, digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, stress/ anxiety and musculoskeletal problems. She also has a keen interest in reproductive health supporting male and female infertility, pregnancy, and pre/post-natal conditions.
Katie regularly attends courses delivered by eminent practitioners such as Jane Lyttleton, Debra Betts, Mazin Al Khafaji and Stephen Birch to update her skills and knowledge. In 2014 she completed the intensive post-graduate diploma course in gynaecology, reproductive medicine and obstetrics under Trevor Wing. She has observed in several Chinese hospitals in Hangzhou, and, as a member of the EAST Medicine research group at Westminster University, was funded by the Department of Health to research Chinese Medicine treatments for menopausal symptoms under Professor Volker Scheid.

After completing an MA in Oriental languages and culture (Japanese), Pouyan embarked on a journey of exploration through the lenses of China and Japan’s healing arts. He graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM), the oldest acupuncture college in the UK, gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture. His consequent apprenticeships and post graduate training comprised of many different aspects and styles of Acupuncture (both Chinese and Japanese), in particular in the field of women’s health. He completed an advanced diploma in fertility, where he learnt how to approach complex fertility cases from both a western medicine point of view, as well as from an eastern perspective. His training includes reading medical test results, identifying possible root causes of infertility, as well as insights into complex gynaecological cases such as PCOS and endometriosis.
Pouyan has recently expanded his expertise to include TMJ therapy, an innovative approach combining intraoral and extraoral massage with acupuncture. This specialty targets temporomandibular joint disorders, addressing issues related to jaw pain, clicking, and discomfort. His approach in TMJ therapy is holistic, considering not only the localized symptoms but also their potential relationship with other bodily and emotional imbalances.
Pouyan creates a warm and safe environment, building and maintaining a therapeutic alliance with his patients. His background in bodywork (Thai yoga massage, Tuina and deep tissue therapy) supports him in his hands-on approach, especially when it comes to musculoskeletal issues. Anna is a qualified acupuncturist and registered member of the British Acupuncture Council. She studied at Westminster University where she graduated in 2004 with a BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture. Following completion of her course she spent a month in China furthering her studies and treating patients in two hospitals in Sichuan Province.
Anna has a special interest in gynaecology, fertility and pregnancy and has completed post graduate studies in fertility acupuncture, acupuncture for assisted conception and IVF, gynaecology and obstetrics. She has worked in private practice since graduating. Before starting her own family Anna worked in the IVF unit at Hammersmith hospital providing acupuncture support to couples going through IUI and IVF.

Catherine is a highly qualified Acupuncturist with a diverse background. She graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine with a 1st class honours degree and is member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). Her post graduate studies remain paramount and includes the Advanced Diploma in Fertility, she is also training to become a fertility coach. Prior to acupuncture she pursued a career as a Radiographer and latterly specialising in breast Cancer care, working with the NHS and private healthcare sectors.
Driven by a desire for a more integrated approach to healthcare, Catherine embarked on a personal journey into holistic therapies. During this time, she discovered her passion for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. By combining her knowledge from her experience in Western medicine with her holistic approach, Catherine is able to create individualised treatment plans to address imbalances within the body. Her caring and supportive nature ensures that her patients receive the highest level of care.
Catherine’s goal is to empower her clients by providing them with practical tools to support their overall health and well-being. Vikki has spent over 15 years working in the addiction and mental health field. During her career she saw first hand how emotional imbalances manifested in physical symptoms, and vice versa - how physical symptoms could deeply impact psychological wellbeing and quality of life. She became fascinated with Chinese Medicine as a way to benefit body and mind as a whole system.
This passion led to her completing a 3.5 year BSc course at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. Here, Vikki’s passion for Chinese Medicine grew as she saw the transformational effect of acupuncture on patients with various conditions.

Kath studied for 3.5 years at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and graduated with a BSC (Hons) in acupuncture
Previous to this Kath worked in HR for a number of large corporations but it was her care for employees as people that made her realise she wanted to become even more directly involved in people’s wellbeing, hence she now dedicates her time to active care through a combination of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and five element style of acupuncture.
Kath found real empathy and compassion for those seeking help with issues surrounding menopause when researching for her dissertation (for which she achieved a first class grade). She worked with particular emphasis on the treatment of the symptoms of cognitive decline and brain fog in this area.
She finds equal satisfaction treating a wide range of other conditions including digestive issues, mental health and assisting patients with the after effects of chemotherapy. The recent Covid19 pandemic has also given her recent experience treating a number of patients with Long Covid symtoms.
